Jeff Hill is a great asset to the Dance World. We have known him for many years now and continue to be inspired by him. He has the ability to reach/connect with all of our dancers including our young ones. Our dancers continue to ask for “Mr. Jeff” to come back to our studio. He has done choreography and Master Classes for us. Many of his numbers have won “Best Choreography” at regional competitions.
He has been an inspiration to all of our teachers with his motivational speeches and creative techniques for teaching dance. It’s not just about Dancing , it’s about how you feel when you dance.

Hey Jeff,
Not sure if you remember me or not, but your actually responsible for me
pursuing dance as a career. Last you saw me was about 3 years ago when I was a senior
in high school. You were my mentor for a Senior Project. Well I just was explaining
how I got into dance to a friend of mine and of course your name came up. After that
conversation, I became curious on what you've been doing since Ballet Arts closed
down. Googled you and here I am.
Just as an update and not to sing your praises but,
thanks to having you as a mentor, I'm a Junior at Suny Buffalo...a dance major. I'm
a member of Zodiaque Dance Company, which is an on campus Modern dance company. It
doesn't pay, but its a start. Other than the usual dance classes, I'm also taking
voice and acting classes, in hope that one day I can at least dance on Broadway.
Big dreams, I know, but without them, what do we have to strive for?
Again, thanks
for everything you've done. And, hey, maybe some day you can see me dance and how
much I've grown since 2003-
Jeff,
My 8 yr old daughter was in the beginner's class at DC in Myrtle Beach last week. She enjoyed your class so much. The "Annie" routine was very good. I have enjoyed reading your book. Thanks for being such a positive role model for these young dancers.
Even after 31 years of operating Dance Studios I need to be inspired. Jeff Hill always has that gift of motivation needed. He has a special gift that comes from inside out.

Mr. Hill
I just wanted to say that of all the classes I took this year at the WV Dance Festival, yours was my favorite. It was great to take a class from such a motivated teacher who could get everyone excited about jazz.
Hey Jeff,
I'm from Jessica Morgan School of Dance and I just wanted to say (like everyone else) that everything you have to say to us means so much more than a lecture about technique or pressure from teachers and students and really makes me WANT to dance!
Jeff,
You’re a great guy. You helped me learn that dance is not only for fun but it’s an art. You taught/teach me how to perform" how to be on the stage, how to love dance even more then I already did. I want to be a dancer and that’s what you help me to do. You help me not to be scared to dance like I would dance if I was on stage when I’m dancing in the classroom, how to be (quote) 100% goofy then half way cool, to not be as sad about leaving my past dancing, how to dance in the front row of class while learning new things and not to be afraid of doing it wrong the first couple times, to try harder then I already do, to be unafraid of what people think about me, to be a good person and dancer and to be me.
Thank you,
Paige
My name is Mindy Taylor Jackson, I own the Jessamine School of Classical Dance in Nicholasville, Ky. My students and I first met Jeff Hill about five years ago at a summer dance convention and competition. My students loved him!!! They were so thrilled to actually learn more then choreography in his class. He was amazing!! As an instructor, I was struck by his effort to educate young dancers about classroom etiquette, and work ethic as well as technique and choreography in a convention environment! He was motivating and inspiring.
Two years ago I hired Jeff to come to my studio to teach at our first in house dance camp. He was a huge hit! My students learned so much from him. He did not except anything but their best!! He came back to my studio this summer. My students were again the recipients of great instruction and training. Jeff is always positive. He is always professional and has a great rapport with my dancers. He encourages them to see what is possible if they are willing to do the work!
Jeff Hill not only inspires my students but he is an inspiration to me as well. He reminds me that what I do in my studio makes a difference! Good training, in every aspect of dance is sometimes hard to find these days. I don’t mean the forms of dance; I mean the things you get from dance, self esteem, work ethic, discipline, body awareness as well as technique. I feel that when Jeff is teaching my students he reinforces these ideals. He reminds them that they don’t have to sell out and do movement, or styles of dance that are not appropriate for them as a substitute for good technique and training!
Jeff Hill is a wonderful teacher, gifted choreographer and an all around great person. I would recommend him to any dance teacher/studio owner that wants to enrich their students training.
Jeff,
We just returned from Dance Caravan in Myrtle Beach. I have to agree w/ Tammy Slaughter
(we are "dance moms" from the same dance school) . My daughter, also named Miranda,
enjoys taking your class. As a parent, I appreciate the discipline and self-

Hey Jeff!!
I’m Sarah from the Elite group at Marquette School of Dance. This past weekend that you were here was absolutely amazing! I could have stayed there all day and just learned from you by simply by listening. I’m sure you hear it often, but you are truly talented, and your passion really shows through and motivates us all. Thank you SO much for taking time to come here and share your time and talent with us. You are such an inspiration!
